Private tour
October to May
Few cities let you tee off among palm groves with snow-capped mountains on the horizon, then spend the evening in a medieval square of storytellers and spice sellers. Marrakech is Morocco’s golf capital, with more than a dozen courses on the edge of the city, many laid out among olive and palm groves with clear views of the High Atlas.
This short golf break balances two morning rounds with the best of the city: a guided afternoon through the Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace and the souks, an evening on Jemaa el-Fnaa and, time permitting, the Majorelle Garden before your flight. Private transfers and pre-arranged tee times take care of the details.
Day 1
Your private driver meets you at Marrakech Menara Airport and takes you to your hotel, with your clubs travelling safely in the vehicle. The rest of the day is free to settle in.
In the evening, Jemaa el-Fnaa comes alive below the Koutoubia minaret with musicians, storytellers and food stalls. A rooftop terrace above the square is the ideal place for a first dinner in the city.
Day 2
An early start, when the air is cool and the light over the Atlas is at its clearest. Your driver takes you to the first course: palm-lined fairways, water hazards and quick greens set against snowy peaks. Caddies are available at most courses and know every break on the greens.
In the afternoon, a licensed guide leads you through the medina: the Koutoubia Mosque, the painted courtyards of the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and the souks. At dusk, you return to Jemaa el-Fnaa at its liveliest.
Day 3
The final morning is yours to choose. Golfers can play a second course, perhaps among the olive groves south of the city with wide mountain views. Partners, or anyone preferring a slower start, can visit the Majorelle Garden, created by Jacques Majorelle and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent.
After lunch, a private transfer takes you to Menara Airport, about 15 minutes from the city centre.
Some courses ask for a handicap card or certificate, especially in high season. Please bring proof.
Bring your own, or reserve quality rental sets with your tee times.
Available at most courses and recommended for reading the greens.
From June to September, tee times are set very early to avoid the heat.
The courses sit on the outskirts of Marrakech among palm and olive groves, a short private drive from your hotel. Menara Airport is about 15 minutes from the city centre.
Both work. Most travellers bring their own clubs, which travel safely in the private vehicle. Quality rental sets are available at the main courses and can be reserved in advance with your tee times.
Some courses ask to see a handicap card or certificate, especially in high season. Bring proof of your handicap, and we will confirm each course’s requirements when booking.
October to May is the main season, with mild, sunny days and clear Atlas views, especially in winter when the peaks are snow-capped. In summer, rounds are scheduled very early in the morning.
